ColoFlush - Native Remedies

native-remediesHaving looked at ColoFlush by Native Remedies (certianly not to be confused with Colo Flush which is a scam) briefly before starting this review, I must say that I’m rather optimistic about this one.  The website looks informative, the product looks solid, and I didn’t see any big red flags in their marketing or sales practices.

But let’s dig a little deeper and see what ColoFlush is really all about.  As I often do, I’ll first look at the product itself and it’s ingredients and then focus the rest of the review on the company behind the ColoFlush (Native Remedies).

What’s in ColoFlush?

The ColoFlush website clearly spelled out all the ingredients that ColoFlush contains.  In an industry where more and more companies simply aren’t disclosing this information, it was refreshing to see such openness.

The ingredients in ColoFlush are as follows:

  • Cascara (assists in waste removal)
  • Seed husks (contains fiber)
  • Marshmallow (don’t worry, it’s not the fluffy kind that you use for smores)
  • Chinese cinnamon (has “positive effect on the digestive system”)

All in all, the ingredients in ColoFlush look pretty good and are likely to be quite effective. There may be more comprehensive (multistep?) systems out there, but ColoFlush should perform as promised.

I’d like to point out another thing that impressed me quite a bit:

coloflush-ingredients1

Not only does ColoFlush provide a list of the ingredients and a brief explanation of it, they also provide references for the clinical studies that support the claims. This is certainly something that you won’t see with the majority of other colon cleansers on the market.

A Look at the Website

coloflush-website

I found the ColoFlush website to rather refreshing.  After reviewing so many colon cleansers that have a one-page website that provides essentially no information whatsoever, the ColoFlush site was a welcomed variation being loaded with information about the product as well as general colon cleansing and health-related information.

You can find information on suggestions for best use, directions, recommended additions to the product, a very comprehensive FAQ section, and much more.

Straight Forward Talk

What I really liked about their marketing is that I didn’t feel as though I was met face to face with a door to door salesman.  The site is very straight forward and helps you to make an informed decision rather that simply trying to get your credit card as quick as possible.

A Great Guarantee

coloflush-guaranteeThere aren’t many colon cleansers on the market that offer good guarantees (anything over a month), which is why I was surprised to see that ColoFlush has a 1 year money back guarantee!

Their guarantee in their own words:

“We are so certain that you will be completely satisfied with our wonderful, natural products, that we offer a One Year unconditional money back guarantee*.

Simply try our products for at least 30 days. If you are not completely satisfied - for any reason - return the product to us within 1 year for a complete refund less shipping fees.

Please ship any used and unused portions of the products with their original containers, plus your name and invoice or order number, via prepaid USPS:

Native Remedies, LLC
Meridian Centre 6531 Park of Commerce Blvd.
Suite C-160
Boca Raton, FL, 33487
U.S.A.”

They also do state that:

“*Limited to orders of $200 or less. For larger orders there is a 25% restocking fee.
* A 25% administration fee will be applied to all orders returned to us without a copy of the order, packing/picking slip, or a reference to the order number.”

So they charge you a restocking fee, but only on very large orders.  Also, you have to make sure to include the necessary info to get your return.  Nothing surprising.  In this case, without that information it would be difficult to process a refund so I can understand some kind of a fee.

So not only do they refund you money for unopened bottles (that’s as far as most other companies go), but they also let you return the used bottles as well.  In this industry, guarantees don’t get much better than that folks.

The EasyShip  Option

If you’ve read any of my other reviews, you’ll notice that I usually come down pretty hard on autoship programs.  The reason for this is because they are usually used in very shady ways.  When a company lures people in with a free trial, hides the autoship details in the fine print, and then starts charging the consumer’s credit card (much to their surprise), that’s when I have a problem with the autoship and it becomes a scam.

There are however companies that have an autoship option, but make it very clear for the customer that they 1. don’t have to use it to buy the product and 2. are very aware of the autoship if they choose to use it.  Native Remedies is one such company.

Right below the order bottons on the site you see the option to get free shipping with EasyShip: coloflush-easyship

By clicking on the button you get the following explanation:

coloflush-autoship

You must be blind if you miss the big new box that pops up on your screen after clicking the button.  It doesn’t get much clearer than that.

I also when through most of the billing process and I didn’t see another time that they tried to get me to use the EasyShip.  I like that.

ColoFlush Price

One bottle of ColoFlush is only $43.95. In comparison to other similar products that charge upwards of $80, ColoFlush is priced very reasonably.  If you buy 2 bottles, you get one for free and you pay only $87.90.  So you get 3 bottles for almost the same as 1 bottle of some other products.

If you have a tight budget (don’t we all) and are looking for a good colon cleanser, ColoFlush may be just the product for you.

ColoFlush ComboPacks

coloflush-combopacksI also like that Native Remedies has many other products that are designed to be used in conjunction with ColoFlush.

You can easily select different combinations of the different products that you need and get them at a 10% to 15% discount.

Other products that compliment the use of ColoFlush include:

  • Gastronic Dr.
  • DigestAssist
  • Digestion Tonic
  • Gasolve Relief

Customer Service

Another noteworthy section of their website is the Contact Us page.

Unlike a few other colon cleanser companies who only provide an email address (and maybe a phone number that they don’t answer), ColoFlush had number of different ways to contact them for customer service.

For starters, you can email them about product questions through their “Ask Our Experts” link at the top.  They also had 3 phone numbers (24-hour, Customer Service, and Outside North America), a fax number, mailing address, customer service email address and others relating to returns and refunds and order status.

Statements like “There are many ways to get in touch with us so please don’t hesitate to email, phone, fax, or mail. We are here to help!” are reassuring.

I don’t think you’ll have any problem at all getting a hold of someone at the company.

The Company Behind the Product - Native Remedies

Native Remedies has been around for a number of years (six, according to the BBB).  That’s a very good sign.

The BBB report itself also instilled even more confidence:

native-remedies-bbb

Considering that the company has been in business for quite a while, a B rating is very good.  The BBB explains the rating as follows:

native-remedies-b-rating

You’ll also notice that the company is a BBB Accredited Business.  This is always a good sign.  In case you’re wondering what difference this makes, the following is what the BBB has to say about accreditation:

This company has been accredited since 07/31/2005 and we are satisfied that it honors its commitment. The company has agreed to uphold our accreditation standards, which include a commitment to act in accordance with ethical business practices and to respond to customer complaints.

Needless to say, I don’t see any red flags in terms of poor business practices here.  Quite the contrary actually - I’m fairly impressed.

Online Complaint?

It’s not uncommon for me to find dozens of complaints online with a quick Google search for a colon cleanser.  So what about ColoFlush?

I did find one complaint.  The person complained about a product called Nite Trim and that they had unrightfully charged his account numerous times.  Well it turns out that Native Remedies doesn’t make a product called Nite Trim at all and the person was complaining about the wrong company.

Interestingly enough, there were numerous comments after the compliant record from people that were speaking very favorably about Native Remedies and stating that he must have the company confused with another.  I found it somewhat impressive since it’s not often that you’ll have consumers backing you up on the complaint boards.

Conclusion

ColoFlush, by Native Remedies, gets a big recommendation.  I found the website and marketing to be refreshing honest.  I saw no signs of unethical sales practices at all and their customer service appears to be good.  They have a solid track record and the BBB rated them highly.

The price is very reasonable and the product itself looks to be quite good.  Of course, if it doesn’t meet your expectations, it’s backed by one of the best guarantees in the industry.
