One of the most popular weight loss remedies recently is the idea of undergoing colon cleansing. This helps remove all of the excess sludge that may have accumulated inside of the colon over time, leaving a person feeling much lighter, freer, and full of newfound energy. The waste buildup inside the colon is simply not healthy, and can lead not only to constipation and bloating but also overall fatigue and lethargy. One of the most popular colon cleanse recipes is the master cleanse, which has been passed down for a few decades now but continues to grow in popularity as more and more contemporary people are learning that it is extremely effective.
Out of the colon cleanse recipes, many seem to be a variation on the master cleanse in fact, incorporating one or more of the ingredients into their own blend. Also known as the “lemonade diet,” this recipe, devised by Stanley Burroughs way back in 1941, combines a few simple but key ingredients that come together to serve as person’s main source of energy while they essentially fast otherwise. It is a liquid diet that is formulated to give the digestive system a rest from having to work through solid food, while also gently stimulating the body to expel the excess waste products.
The recipe itself, and many other similar colon cleanse recipes, goes as follows.
For one serving, you mix up two tablespoons of lemon juice, two tablespoons of organic maple syrup, 1/10 of a teaspoon of cayenne pepper, and 10 oz. of filtered water. This is mixed together with a spoon and sipped slowly. Most people recommend mixing up a big batch of this in the morning for each day you intend to do the cleanse and then sipping on it whenever you start to feel hungry. While it’s possible to follow this diet for only one day, most recommend that you follow it for anywhere from 7-10 days for maximum benefits.
The master cleanse remains to be one of the most popular colon cleanse recipes because it is so effective. This is alternated with a salt water flush, which helps to empty out the contents of the colon. By the end of one week, you are left pounds lighter, with an increase in energy, and all at a relatively low cost, compared to other high-priced cleansers available on the market. This should only be followed a couple of times a year, as it’s not healthy to deprive your body of food for prolonged periods of time.
To all those who are health conscious and trying to improve their health, I wish you luck, don't give up. It may seem like a tricky journey, but your body deserves it.
The benefits of colon cleansing and a healthy body outweigh the obstacles involved. With a little effort, your body will thank you. Great website.
